Against The Grain

James was a leader in the church in Jerusalem. He knew the difficulties and trials Christians in the ancient world were facing. He wrote this letter to help Christians better understand what it truly means to follow Jesus in everyday situations, even when times are tough. He did this by helping them understand how these difficulties could actually serve to strengthen their faith.
